Hi, I’m Kali
I am a licensed clinical social worker. I emphasize and believe that the relationship developed in therapy is critical to progress. It is my goal to create a safe space for everyone who walks through my door, fostering respect for each and every individual. I take an optimistic approach in my work focusing on supporting and empowering clients as I am hopeful healing and change are possible.
I have a background in working with women struggling with trauma, individuals facing gender dysphoria, anxiety, and depression.
I provide compassionate counseling with a focus on insight-oriented therapy encouraging and valuing feedback specializing in trauma, depression, impacts of shame, gender identity, self-esteem, sexuality/sexual orientation, and anxiety related disorders. I have worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ community supporting individuals navigating the coming out process, as well as the gender confirmation process.
A little bit about my background and training - I received a BA in sociology from Lebanon Valley College and went on to receive my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Upon completion of my Master’s Degree I found my passion in working with the LGTQ+ community in Philadelphia. I continued my commitment to providing a place of safety for the LGBTQ+ when I relocated to Lancaster.
I know it can be hard to find someone to talk to when you are struggling. I hope you will allow me to join you in your journey. I look forward to working with you!
